Welcome to Camping Barrel number 2, a cozy accommodation nestled on a picturesque plateau above Küssnacht am Rigi. From this vantage point, you can indulge in breathtaking views of Lake Lucerne, the majestic Pilatus, and the graceful alpacas that roam the area. Surrounded by nature's splendor, with attention given to every detail, this serene location embodies the essence of Switzerland. A stay here promises to create unforgettable memories.
Camping Barrel 2 offers a comfortable retreat with a spacious bed (140cm x 200cm) for two people. Additionally, it boasts a small balcony where you can soak in the tranquil surroundings. To ensure your convenience, there is a tap with drinking water adorned with the Swiss flag in front of the camping barrel. The barrel is equipped with heating and electricity, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. For your hygiene needs, a white trailer situated above the stable houses two showers and toilets, while another toilet is conveniently located at the parking lot.
You will have access to various amenities within the vicinity. Approximately 100 meters downhill, you'll find two large wooden houses adjacent to a yard counter. Here, you can avail yourself of various provisions, including a coffee maker with coffee and tea, sugar, a grill, a fridge stocked with drinks, plates, cutlery, mugs, tables, chairs, an umbrella, knives, bottle openers, corkscrews, and games. The farm shop, located nearby, offers a refrigerator accessible from 7 am to 8 pm, along with seating and breakfast facilities furnished with farm-fresh products. Moreover, the gas grill is conveniently situated next to the courtyard counter in the outdoor seating area.
In addition to the comfortable accommodations, the camping barrel is situated on our farm, allowing you to observe and interact with various animals during your stay. From your accommodation, you can catch glimpses of alpacas, dwarf goats, chickens, and cows, adding a delightful touch to your experience. Further down, you'll find our farm counter and farm shop, where you can explore and purchase delicious products. For adventure seekers, the vicinity also offers a rope park (Seilpark-Rigi). The area is perfect for hiking, cycling, and enjoying the delightful summer waters for a refreshing swim.
